Crib Convertible bed rail???
We have converted my son's crib into the daybed style where one of the long siderail is removed. He is a big mover at night! Anyways, we put pillows on the floor to make sure if he did fall out, he wouldn't get hurt. Now, that is becoming a problem. He wants to sleep on the floor and not in the bed.
I don't want him on the floor due to the cold weather and we have wood floors. We are looking into bed rails, but alot of them are for toddler beds with a box spring and a mattress. We don't want to just put his mattress on the floor because we want him to get used to sleeping in a "Big Boy's Bed".
So, I am trying to find a bed rail that will work with a convertible crib. Anyone have any ideas???
My son just turned 2 two weeks ago.
I had the same problem. I got the bed rail and decided to put his mattress on the floor and use the rail since he doesn't have a mattress and box spring yet. He loves his bed and the rail keeps him from falling out on the floor. We are getting him a twin bed in a couple months, but this was a good solution in the meantime so he wasn't climbing out of his crib. He doesn't even get out of bed at night.
