I can't find anything on George W. Russell a clock maker. He was from Philidelphia, pa. and made marble clock
we have a black marble mantal clock made by him that has been in our family for over 100 years. We also have a picture of this clock on the mantle in my husbands great grandfathers house with his great grandfathers second wife. You can see the gas fixture to light the lights. If anyone has any idea where I can find this information please let me know.
